Designed with Solar in Mind

Lawnside Building A is the first of a 4-building corporate campus that will feature photovoltaic solar power systems. TerraSol began this project 2 years prior in architecture and engineering discussions with the owner.

• With forward thinking in the design and engineering phases, these buildings are built with solar not as an afterthought, but rather a design built around solar.
• The owners realize cost savings when the buildings’ electrical systems are engineered to include solar and thus no rework has to be completed when solar tie-in is ready.
• Structural engineering for the roof structure is also completed during the planning phase.
• These small changes in planning result in vast improvements in budget and timeline when solar is ready to be installed.
